True to its name, this is a signature loose-fit shirt from KANEMASA PHIL. designed to let you fully appreciate the beautiful drape created by its relaxed silhouette and fabric.

The fabric is an original knit developed using a 46G super-high-gauge knitting machine, recreating the look of high-density woven typewriter cloth. Despite its high density, it offers excellent stretch, delivering a comfortable fit that you won’t want to take off once you slip it on.

Furthermore, it resists wrinkles and retains its shape well, making it highly easy- care. This is the brand’s unique “new standard” shirt fabric, combining a crisp texture and beautiful luster with the flexibility unique to knitwear.

The fabric is made from a two-ply yarn using ultra-fine 160/1 recycled spun cotton. By using gas-treated yarn, we minimize pilling while bringing out a clearer, higher-quality sheen. Furthermore, by blending 75D high-crimp recycled polyester, we have achieved excellent stretch and a comfortable fit.

The patterns are created using proprietary high-gauge jacquard technology. Since  the weave structure is optimized for each specific pattern, the fabric composition varies by item, allowing you to enjoy distinct textures and visual expressions.

The details are designed based on a classic dress shirt. All seams are finished with flat-felled stitching, and the buttons are made of high-quality mother-of-pearl.

Thanks to the fabric’s natural stiffness and sheen, the oversized fit never feels overly casual, maintaining a dressy elegance. This piece embodies KANEMASA PHIL.’s signature luxurious, relaxed style, blending the fabric’s elegant appearance with the laid-back feel of the generous cut.

A sewing technique where the seam allowance is wrapped in the fabric and sewn twice. It feels comfortable against the skin and offers excellent durability. Since the seam allowance is hidden, it results in a beautiful, clean finish.
